Baai is a system located in Tau Ceti Sector.
Four hospitable Earth-type planets are located in this system, allowing the power controlling the area establish a sizable base. The resources are a bit scarce, however, as the asteroid and nebula fields aren't too big. Additionally, the navigation from one wormhole to another is a bit impaired by the energy ribbons present in the area, prompting the fleet to bypass them in order reach the desired gateway.
It is also the only access point to the northern reaches of Alkaid.
